Wristbands for patients, like the Mediaform product "Armilla", are a potent tool for preventing treatment mistakes and optimizing processes. This is the claim which Mediaform wanted to communicate to their customers, in the face of a general lack of interest in the topic. If we were to implement a successful direct mailing as requested by the client, it would have to stand out from the multitude of mailings received by hospitals daily.
Our solution: door handle signs which communicate the advantages of Armilla, through funny and ambiguous messages. These were targeted to IT and quality management audiences, and the result was a thoroughly entertaining and memorable direct mailing.
